Let it go

Sorry if I’ve just put Frozen in your head, but this is one of the most important lessons everyone needs to learn.

Forgive, forget and move on….

I see clients for stress, anxiety, depression, panic attacks, anger issues, and much much more – a lot of their first breakthroughs happen when they start to let go.

Don’t let things fester, don’t let it create an issue,

Let it go.

What ever it was, brush yourself off and start again.

I know it’s hard sometimes, and that what professionals are there to help with.

  1. I love this. This is such a helpful little reminder to myself, since I have anxiety, to stay calm and let things roll off my shoulders. So thank you 🙂

  2. Yes, I now have the song in my head… Thank you for the message! In my clinical experience I too have found that the underlying issue, in most cases, is the inability to let go of the past.

  3. That is to simplist a view. What happen when you have been frozen out of being able to get the help you need. How do you move on then.

    • Have you tried support groups, either online or in person. I don’t know what country you’re based in, but here in the UK we can always get help from doctors or pay privately to see therapists. If you are religious it is worth speaking to your Priest, Rabbi, Pastor, Vicar etc and friends and relatives can often provide support to help you move forward. The most important thing is to talk to people who want to help.
There are often free support groups related to mental health as well in the UK we have Mind and The Samaritans and there are similar groups all over the world.
Good luck getting what ever support you need, and most importantly, keep trying!
